COE(CBSE) arranged an Investment Awareness Programme for the school teaching and non-teaching staff on 4th October 2023 at SKPS Kaduthuruthi in collaboration with Kotak Mutual Funds.

The resource person for the programme was Mr Dennis Samuel, CBSE Master Trainer. The session started at 1.15pm with the welcome address by the Vice Principal Mr Babu Joseph.The session was graced by the presence of the school Principal Rev Fr Ajeesh Kunjarakkattu OSB and Mr Vineesh Kumar, the Branch Manager (Kotak Mutual Funds) who expressed the felicitations for the programme.

The various steps in financial planning and its significance in today’s economy was the core area of discussion. Various topics like Sensex, Nifty, Equity funds, Hybrid funds and Debentures were discussed in detail. The aim of the awareness session was to impart financial literacy and to introduce Systematic Investment Plans.

The programme concluded at 3 pm with the vote of thanks proposed by the Principal Rev Fr Ajeesh Kunjarakkattu OSB.
