World Nature Conservation Day was celebrated at our school on 31-July-2023 themed as Green Day.

The observance of the World Nature Conservation Day is aimed at preservation of natural resources, biodiversity and ecology across all regions. We must preserve our natural resources to maintain ecological balance and biodiversity for a sustainable future. We can save nature and ensure a healthy planet for our future generations.

The event started at 930 AM with a welcome speech.
Our manager Rev. Fr. BINO CHERIYIL OSB, our Principal Rev. Fr. JOBY KURIAN PANOORAYIL OSB planted a sapling with the assistance of our tiny tots – to emphasize the Green Day celebrations. An Inaugural Message by our Principal Rev. Fr. JOBY KURIAN PANOORAYIL OSB, reminded us about the importance of conserving and nurturing our nature. Fr. Principal also recommended children to plant saplings at home and share photographs with the teachers. The event had the esteemed presence and blessings of Rev. Fr. JINSE ALEXANDER OSB and our Vice Principal Mr. BABU JOSEPH. Students wore green colored dresses on the occasion and showcased green colored craft and artwork and paintings done by them on occasion.

The students enthusiastically explained about the Green colored objects which they brought on the occasion. A nature walk was conducted for the kids under the guidance of the teachers and non-teaching staff. The teachers explained the details particulars of the plants and trees which the kids observed during the nature walk.

A cheerful photo session followed the nature walk. Green Day celebrations were concluded by distributing sweets to our beloved tots.
