A Friendly & Grand welcome was in store for the Students of Kindergarten & Std 1. The junior block was buzz with energy & vigour today as St Kuriakose Public School re-opened the doors for the new academic year exclusively for the tiny tots on 6^th June 2024. The classrooms had a burst of delightful faces and innocent smiles.The school embraced a welcoming atmosphere where the entrance was adorned with colourful streamers & balloons. Faces of children were adorned with flower decorations and were also given balloons. Children were escorted royally in a procession, accompanied by the school band followed by Margamkali dancers swaying with their steps with much finesse.

The programme commenced with a little lad dressed up as Rangan ( Aaveshsham style) with his impeccable mimics which went down well with the audience . The prayer dance & welcome dance marked the commencement of the official meeting.

Ms Mary Clemence ( Headmistress ) addressed the audience with the petals of welcome. Rev Dr Bino Cheriyil OSB, Prior,Vallombrosan Benedictine Congregation and Executive Director delivered the Presidential Address & inaugurated the celebration. Rev Fr Ajeesh Jose OSB, Principal presented a report of the previous year’s outstanding results. Ms Jenny Robin, PTA President greeted the children by her lively words.

The culmination of the official session was marked by the commencement of a visual treat of foot tapping numbers followed by the teachers taking centre stage showcasing their enthusiastic moves.
