REPORT ON ANTI-DRUG DAY AWARENESS PROGRAMME
Date: 26th June 2025
Venue: School Auditorium
As part of observing the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, our school conducted an Anti-Drug Day Awareness Programme on 26th June 2025, with the goal of educating students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging them to make healthy life choices.
The programme commenced at 11:05 AM with a warm welcome address by our Principal, Fr. Ajeesh, who emphasized the importance of such awareness initiatives among students. The chief guest and resource person, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Sub-Inspector of Kaduthuruthy, then took the stage and delivered an impactful talk. He spoke about the dangers and long-term consequences of drug use, the psychological and social damage it can cause, and shared real-life examples to highlight the gravity of the issue. His speech strongly encouraged students to stay away from drugs and choose a life of purpose and self-respect. Following the address, all students and staff took an anti-drug pledge, reaffirming their commitment to live a drug-free life and help others do the same.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Bineesha, who expressed gratitude to the guest, management, staff, and students for their participation and support in making the event meaningful. The programme officially dispersed after the vote of thanks.
Overall, the event served as a powerful reminder of our collective role in creating a drug-free society.
